AC-powered beacons with battery backup suit sites with existing electrical infrastructure, ensuring reliable operation during outages while supporting cellular or wireless connectivity for remote monitoring.

Many crosswalk beacon systems include Accessible Pedestrian Signal (APS) compliant activation stations that provide audible, tactile, and visual cues for individuals with visual or hearing impairments, supporting ADA compliance. When paired with RRFBs or overhead illumination, these systems create a fully accessible crossing experience for all pedestrians.
