Blue Tooth Detection for Travel Times & Road Speeds

May 10, 2016 @ 10:30 am - 11:30 am

BTWhere: Webinar Event Type: Webinar Registration Information: Please email organizer at address below. Details: BlueTOAD’s (Bluetooth Travel-time Origin and Destination) advanced traffic monitoring systems are able to calculate and report “real-time” accurate travel-times and speeds by anonomously polling the MAC address of any Bluetooth enabled device on the road. The fucntionality of the Bluetooth sensor is also enhanced by the indystry’s most comprehensive backend software platform for data mining and reporting. BlueTOAD installs quickly and easily with minimal impact to roadway infrastructure, and is flexible for a variety of transportation applications. BlueTOAD is an ideal tool for traffic engineers and consultants, planning departments, MPO’s and traffic operations. All of the data can be archived and used for later retrieval.  It is also a great addition to travel-demand models as it can validate the model and add arterial data to it.  Before and after studies of re-timed signals is now 24×7 and automated. Agenda:
