Description:

Over the past few years Wavetronix has released some of the most advanced radar technology to the traffic market, including the industry's first true radar presence detector. In this session we will look at the full Wavetronix product line for data collection and intersection detection.

Beginning Traffic Technical Training

Description:

This session will cover the basic concepts of a traffic signal system, including the cabinet and its components, controllers, EVP, detection, indications, and mounting hardware. This is meant for individuals new to the traffic industry.

Econolite Aries Technical Training

Location: Traffic Control Training Facility, Oak Park Heights, MN

Prerequisite(s):

Description:

This session will cover basic Aries setup to a fully working system. We will practice running Aries to controllers and setting up communications as well as discuss how to run the system from the office for system maintenance.

 

Additional Information: Lunch will be provided

    Attendees should bring the following items

       4Laptop computer

       4ASC2 or ASC3 controller (including power and direct connect cables)

This session will cover general ASC3 programming, operation, and maintenance. Topics will include programming, status displays, troubleshooting, databases, and software installation. This is intended for users at all skill levels.

This seminar, presented by GTT, will discuss the latest developments in Emergency Vehicle Preemption and Transit Signal Priority. GTT Technical Service Engineer Pat Cosgrove will discuss the features of GTT's GPS-based system followed by a brief presentation on it's Central Management Software which is quickly becoming an industry standard for monitoring, managing, and maintaining a preemption system. GTT's latest advancement in infrared technology, the new 794 LED infrared emitter, will also be unveiled.

This session will present an overview at Systems software of the traffic industry and how they can help agencies of various sizes better manage their signals. Systems discussed will include Econolite's Aries, Centracs, and DCMS; Wavetronix's Data Collector; GTT's Central Management System; and 360 Surveillance's Cameleon. Live demonstrations will be presented for several of the systems.

A session prompted by the growth of Ethernet systems in the traffic industry, this session will cover different Ethernet technologies and how they work within the traffic industry. Ethernet can be a solution for agencies running a central system or a closed loop system but choosing the correct migration path is important. Ideas and examples will be discussed to assist in this choice.
